Children’s Art parties
Let’s Party…
At Quirky Cactus Art, we offer custom children’s art parties for a minimum of 10, and a maximum of 20 little artists.
Art parties are completely customisable, where you and your child can choose the type of art to be created based on a favourite animal, theme or a particular artwork or style of art. If you are not sure what your child would like to create, have a look at the Quirky Cactus Art instagram page for ideas based on previous children’s art parties and workshops. We can also guide you through the selection process, and offer a range of artworks that will suit your child’s interests.
Quirky Cactus Art parties can be any chosen length, beginning at 1.5 hours for a simple artwork, and up to 3.5 hours for more complex artworks. For all party options, there is half an hour included within the set time for cake and party food. You can choose to have cake at any time during the party, as well as offer drinks and snacks to graze on while creating.
When choosing the shorter party option, please note that the time goes fast, so only very simple artworks can be created within this timeframe. If you would like extra time in the studio, there is an extra fee of $50 per hour, plus GST. This can be arranged before the party.
For all parties, the teacher will only assist for the duration of the art lesson, and will not be responsible for the serving of any food or drinks throughout the party, as well as any other entertainment. At least one parent must stay for the duration of the party.
Adults are permitted to bring drinks, with glasses provided, but are encouraged to stay outside the studio to ensure minimal noise/disruption during the session. Younger siblings can join the party, but may need assistance from a parent or carer if aged under 6 years.
A digital invitation is also provided within the party package if you choose. These can also be printed and express posted or collected for an additional cost of $2 per invitation.
If you prefer the art to be on canvas instead of mixed media paper, there is a fee of $10 per child for a small stretched canvas, $20 for a larger canvas, or $20 for an A4 wooden painting board, although this option is only available for some artworks. Another option is for the children to take their work home with a frame. Prices vary depending on the style and size. These can also be purchased within the studio on the day. Alternatively, you're welcome to provide your own frames ensuring they will comfortably fit an A4 artwork, or A5 if you are choosing this option.
All party packages include the complete studio setup, with white table covers, acrylic glasses & tumblers, a small bar fridge for use, a microwave, an ice bucket (ice is not provided), disposable cutlery & plates, napkins, aprons for each artist, and all art materials and equipment. Please BYO food, drinks and ice if required.
Please contact Brooke to arrange a suitable time & date for the party, noting there is an additional cost of $100 per hour, plus GST for parties held on a Sunday or after 6pm.
1.5 Hour Art Party

This party package is for a 1.5 hour art party at the Quirky Cactus Art studio in Wembley for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $40, plus GST, per extra child up to 20.
For the 1.5 hour package, the art lesson will be for 1 hour, and then children will spend the remaining 30 minutes enjoying cake and party food (self catered).
During the 1 hour art session, children will create a simple water colour & Posca paint pen masterpiece on A4 mixed media paper, or A5 for more complex images.
2 Hour Art Party

This party package is for a 2 hour art party at the Quirky Cactus Art studio in Wembley for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $50, plus GST, per extra child up to 20.
For the 2 hour package, the art lesson will be for 1.5 hours, and then children will spend the remaining 30 minutes enjoying cake and party food (self catered).
During the 1.5 hour art session, children will create a simple water colour & Posca paint pen masterpiece on A3 mixed media paper, or A4 for more complex images. You can choose the piece of art that will be created from the Quirky Cactus Art collection, according to your child's interests, although there are limitations due to the timeframe. 2.5 Hour Art Party

This party package is for a 2.5 hour art party at the Quirky Cactus Art studio in Wembley for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $55, plus GST, per extra child up to 20.
For the 2.5 hour package, the art lesson will be for 2 hours, and then children will spend the remaining 30 minutes enjoying cake and party food (self catered).
During the 2 hour art session, children will create a mixed media masterpiece on A3 paper, or A4 for more complex images.
3 Hour Art Party

This party package is for a 3 hour art party at the Quirky Cactus Art studio in Wembley for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $60, plus GST, per extra child.
For the 3 hour package, the art lesson will be for 2.5 hours, and then children will spend the remaining 30 minutes enjoying cake and party food (self catered).
During the 2.5 hour art session, children will create a mixed media masterpiece on A3 paper, or A4 for more complex images.
3.5 Hour Art Party

This party package is for a 3.5 hour art party at the Quirky Cactus Art studio in Wembley for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $65, plus GST, per extra child.
For the 3.5 hour package, the art lesson will be for 3 hours, and then children will spend the remaining 30 minutes enjoying cake and party food (self catered).
During the 3 hour art session, children will create a detailed mixed media masterpiece. This session is more involved, allowing for children to work on the finer details within their creations.
