Children’s Art parties
Let’s Party…
At Quirky Cactus Art, we offer custom children’s art parties for a minimum of 10, and a maximum of 20 little artists.
Art parties are mobile, and can be held at your own home or at a venue of your choice. QCA is now based in Perth & Albany. For parties outside of the metro area, travel costs will be added onto the base rate.
Art parties are completely customisable, where you and your child can choose the type of art to be created based on a favourite animal, theme or a particular artwork or style of art. If you are not sure what your child would like to create, have a look at the Quirky Cactus Art instagram page for ideas based on previous children’s art parties and workshops. We can also guide you through the selection process, and offer a range of artworks that will suit your child’s interests.
Quirky Cactus Art parties can be any chosen length, beginning at 1.5 hours for a simple artwork, and up to 3.5 hours for more complex artworks. For all party options, the time is for the art only.
When choosing the shorter party option, please note that the time goes fast, so only very simple artworks can be created within this timeframe.
For all parties, the teacher will only assist for the duration of the art lesson, and will not be responsible for the serving of any food or drinks throughout the party, as well as any other entertainment. At least one parent must stay for the duration of the party.
Younger siblings can join the party, but may need assistance from a parent or carer if aged under 6 years. Please be aware that the focus should be on the birthday boy or girl, younger siblings can sometimes take away this attention.
If you prefer the art to be on canvas instead of mixed media paper, there is a fee of $10 per child for a small stretched canvas, $20 for a larger canvas, or $20 for an A4 wooden painting board, although this option is only available for some artworks.
Another option is for the children to take their work home with a frame. Prices vary depending on the style and size. Alternatively, you're welcome to provide your own frames ensuring they will comfortably fit an A4 artwork, or A5 if you are choosing this option.
For more complex artworks requiring pre drawing before the party, there is a fee of $50 per hour, plus GST. This will be discussed during the booking process.
All party packages include table covers, aprons for each artist, as well as all art materials and equipment.
To help with the party planning, a QCA digital invitation can also be created for an extra cost of $22.
Please contact Brooke to arrange a suitable time & date for the party, noting there is an additional cost of $100, plus GST for parties held on a Sunday or after 6pm.
2 Hour Art Party

This party package is for a 2 hour art party for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $50, plus GST, per extra child up to 20.
During the 2-hour art session, children will create a simple water colour & Posca paint pen masterpiece on A4/ A5 mixed media paper. You can choose the piece of art that will be created from the Quirky Cactus Art collection, according to your child's interests, although there are limitations due to the timeframe. Please get in touch to discuss ideas/ themes.
2.5 Hour Art Party

This party package is for a 2.5 hour art party for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $55, plus GST, per extra child up to 20.
During the 2.5-hour art session, children will create a mixed media masterpiece on A3 paper, or A4 for more complex images.
2 Hour labubu Art Party

This very popular party package is for a 2 hour Labubu themed art party, for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $50, plus GST, per extra child.
During the 2-hour art session, children will create a mixed media Labubu inspired masterpiece on A5 paper. The lesson begins with a few drawing details, followed by a little watercolour pencil detail, and then straight onto watercolour painting with their favourite colours. They will then finish their creations with fine liner outlining, Posca marker details, before finishing with some glitter.
2.5 Hour Labubu & frame Art Party

This very popular party package is for a 2.5 hour Labubu & Frame themed art party at the Quirky Cactus Art studio in Nedlands, for 10 children. Additional spots can be added at a cost of $60, plus GST, per extra child.
During the 2.5-hour art session, children will create a mixed media Labubu inspired masterpiece on A5 paper, as well as decorate an A5 frame with acrylic candy for the Labubu artwork.
The lesson begins with a bit of drawing, followed by watercolour pencil detail, and then straight onto watercolour painting using their favourite colours. They will then finish their creations with fine liner outlining, Posca marker details, before finishing with some glitter. Children will also choose their favourite acrylic candies, before gluing them onto their frames (these are super cute!).
